Here is a photo of Martha, Jenny, Tim and me at the Eco church celebration at Chichester Cathedral. Also in the photo are Bishop of Lewes the Right Reverend William Hazlewood and Rev Buff Stone our Diocesan Environment Officer.
The service was in celebration of the over 80 churches that have received eco-church awards in the ten years the scheme has been running. I am proudly holding our Silver Eco-Church plaque. We are now aspiring to reach Gold! Highlights of the service were the sermon by Bishop William and the wonderful cathedral choir performance of John Rutter’s ‘For the Beauty of the Earth.’
