Living Lightly: inspiration to live more sustainably

Sat 21st Sept 10 am – 4 pm St Augustine’s Church, Scaynes Hill

Do you want to reduce your carbon footprint? Would you like to encourage biodiversity in your garden? Do you want to cut down on single use plastics?  Join us for a day of inspiration and encouragement to live more sustainably.  There will be lots to do:

  • Apple pressing (bring eating apples to press if you have them, plastic bottles for the juice – 500ml is great)
  • Talks on bees, coffee, wormeries and flour milling
  • Electric car chat with people with first-hand experience of driving them
  • Burgess Hill Shed – community craft workshop
  • Fill Good Store
  • Zero Hub
  • Children’s craft activities
  • Displays and an ideas board to share practical tips on living more sustainably
  • Renewable energy phone charging
  • Refreshments including light lunches and cakes

Bring ideas to share and allow time to enjoy the refreshments.  See you then!
