The children and young people have separate arrangements from the older members of the congregation during the 10:30am services most Sundays. During the first hymn the younger children go to the vicarage for children’s church, and shortly afterward the other young people go to the vestry. Both groups try to return in time for the distribution of the bread and the wine.

Furthermore, there are youth group meetings on most Friday evenings during term time, to which all the older young children are warmly invited. These comprise UFOs for eleven to fourteen year olds, and a new group called SHY, Scaynes Hill Youth, for teenagers aged fifteen or older.

There is also a group called FAF for those interested in going more deeply into the Christian faith. This has meetings at less regular intervals, and prospective members are recommended to contact Tom Robson for full details.
