Reel Issues Film Club

The Film Club was launched in October 2008, and plans to screen one film each month at the Social Club in Scaynes Hill. The week after the screening there is a follow-up meeting to discuss the film and any issues it raises, after everyone has had a chance to think about it. All are very welcome to come along! Entry to the Social Club is free to members, or £1.00 for non–members. Doors open at 7:00pm.

Films already seen and discussed include The Constant Gardener, Casino Royale, Bruce Almighty, Hotel Rwanda, The Last King of Scotland, The Shawshank Redemption, Avatar, Amazing Grace, The Queen, Good Night and Good Luck, An Education, Made in Dagenham, The Man Who Sued God and Up.

Licensing terms prevent us from promoting forthcoming film titles on this website, but further information about films can normally be obtained in the church.
